Just a reassuring update on the conditions of the field, that I visited and walked on Feb. 03 2025 -- I'm a glider pilot (Bruno from AVUT trento, D-4756) and I live in the area. The field is perfect, as previously described. Here you find a picture that I shot from the road immediately West of the field. The two tall, prominent trees that may serve as a reference from the air are circled in green.

I'm myself a glider pilot (bruno, discus b WL D-4756) and I live in the area. The field reported in your database is no longer maintained, and should be replaced by the new field about 500m to the East. Landing eastward (typical, in the afternoon, with the valley breeze blowing from the East) the presence of the light powerline (height, 7/8 meters) running along the paved road leading to the village of Barco should be taken in due account. The new field is very visible from the air (see pictures attached) and reference can be made to a pair of very tall, prominent trees immediately NW of the field. Landing in direction West is done in calm air, or with substantial Northerly winds that tend to turn from the West down in the valley. Since the field is at least 500m long, landing in direction East, it's better to glide clearing the powerline from above, and touch beyond the trace of trail right abeam the pair of tall trees -- again, see pictures.

Fruehjahr 2004: Im Nord-Osten des Feldes ist ein Teil mit einer ObstPlantage bebaut. Die Beflanzung ist nicht sehr alt, da vor wenigen Jahren bei einer Begehung
das Ganze noch Wese war. Der Windsack auf der Nord-West-Seite ist auch heuer noch da.
